Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-2030 technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats and opportunities in quantum and biotech convergence
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on paradigm-shifting technologies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups for tech incubation programs
- Design ethical frameworks for AI deployment in regulated industries
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused KPIs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech leadership with proven experience in future-casting methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, nanotechnology, or decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership on technological singularity or Fourth Industrial Revolution
- Strong background in venture capital or corporate innovation with successful exits
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and trend analysis methodologies
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ professionals
- Clearance for government-contracted R&D projects (or ability to obtain)
