Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual budgets
- Identify and mitigate ethical implications of breakthrough technologies
- Forge partnerships with government agencies and Fortune 500 companies
- Present findings to C-suite executives and international bodies
- Drive patent development for proprietary 2026-readiness solutions
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodology for rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in emerging tech strategy with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum or AI applications
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from lab to market
- Deep expertise in futures forecasting and scenario planning
- Security clearance for sensitive defense/international projects
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Global network of technology innovators and policy influencers
