Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, neurotech, etc.) and publish trend forecasts
- Develop strategic product roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market opportunities and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable development plans
- Analyze global tech policy and regulatory landscapes to identify strategic advantages
- Partner with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with future technology trajectories
- Build and maintain a global network of innovators, researchers, and industry disruptors
- Present future insights to investors, clients, and industry panels at major tech conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product development with proven future-planning impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate technologies into cohesive visions
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (white papers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience building strategic frameworks for long-term product roadmaps (5-10 year horizons)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proficiency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
