Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives and sustainability goals
- Direct cross-disciplinary R&D teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI ethics, quantum applications, biotech interfaces)
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for technology integration and ethical deployment
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor emerging talent through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 8+ years tech innovation experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining technologies
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains: generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, WFS) or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Experience securing $1M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python preferred) and data visualization tools
