Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology) and develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive opportunities in 2026+ tech landscapes
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at major tech conferences
- Drive innovation sprints for next-gen products in VR/AR, autonomous systems, and decentralized networks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD/Master's preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience working with C-suite executives and presenting to boards/investors
- Portfolio of published futurism research or patented innovations
