Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology strategy aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, quantum algorithms, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact potential
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-driven ROI projections
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to capture early-stage innovations
- Mentor junior futurists and foster an innovation-first culture across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with 7-figure budgets
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or biotechnology
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and predictive analytics
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or trend forecasting
