Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps spanning 2024-2026, aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype quantum computing, AI ethics, and neuro-interface applications
- Partner with VC firms to identify emerging startups for strategic acquisitions
- Present quarterly futurist briefings to board members and industry consortiums
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and predictive analytics
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's patent acceleration program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on future tech trends (2019-2023)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Foresight Platform, Delphi Method)Experience with quantum algorithm development or neuromorphic computing
- Certification in Emerging Technology Governance (ETG) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three 5-year tech predictions realized
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
