Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology landscape (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption across enterprise verticals
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and executive teams
- Produce quarterly future impact reports with actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain a global network of technology pioneers and thought leaders
- Translate complex scientific concepts into compelling business narratives
- Advise C-suite on long-term technology investments and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight role
- Proven track record of identifying emerging trends before mainstream adoption
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning
- Deep knowledge of at least two 2026-critical tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio of published future impact analyses or strategic frameworks
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
