Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging tech trends impacting 2026+ markets through quantitative research and qualitative expert interviews
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration across enterprise portfolios
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping solutions for climate resilience, human augmentation, and decentralized systems
- Present trend reports and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate technology adoption cycles
- Mentor internal teams on future-focused methodologies and horizon-scanning frameworks
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Nexus Horizon as the 2026 technology authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating emerging tech into commercialized products or services
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI ethics, quantum computing applications, neurotech, or climate tech
- Published author or keynote speaker at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- MSc or PhD in Technology Futures, Systems Engineering, or related field required
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech commercialization projects with $50M+ impact
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Foresight Platform, Kumu) and data visualization
- Security clearance or ability to obtain DoD/NASA-level clearance for sensitive projects
