Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing integration into consumer applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI ethics, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global research labs
- Author visionary white papers that influence industry standards and policy discussions
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists through our Innovation Accelerator program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 10+ years of applied research
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ products launched)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI safety, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Prior experience briefing Fortune 500 executives on technological disruption
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical interactions
- Portfolio of past future-casting projects with measurable impact
