Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technology trends (2024-2026 horizon) including quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Develop 10-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-focused solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into development cycles
- Monitor global tech policy developments and their potential impact on business strategy
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technology adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term tech roadmaps
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum, AI, blockchain, synthetic biology
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation (e.g., CFTE, CPSM)
