Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen AI, quantum computing, and biotech integrations
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers focused on 2030+ technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption cycles
- Present futuristic technology strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for 2026 technology incubation projects
- Represent company at global tech summits shaping post-2025 digital policy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in futurecasting or horizon scanning
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market impact
- Exceptional data modeling skills for predicting technology adoption curves
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (IEEE, Nature, or equivalent)
- Experience securing government or corporate grants for futuristic R&D projects
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R preferred)
