Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, sustainable tech)
- Lead scenario planning for technological disruption and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and manage an external network of academic, startup, and industry innovators
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend reports
- Drive innovation workshops to cultivate future-focused mindset across organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains
- Exceptional strategic communication and executive presentation skills
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry platforms
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (preferred)
