Responsibilities
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 horizon, aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing and neural interface systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption windows
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance protocols
- Present future-state scenarios to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into current product roadmaps
- Establish innovation metrics for tracking technological adoption curves
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or spatial computing
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (patents, white papers, or keynotes)
- Experience modeling complex technological impact scenarios
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating previous technology forecasting successes
