Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 strategic technology roadmap with executive stakeholders
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum-resistant cryptography and neural interfaces
- Oversee the commercialization of 3+ breakthrough products targeting 2026 market windows
- Manage a $15M innovation portfolio with P&L responsibility
- Establish partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA for collaborative research
- Present quarterly futures briefings to the board and C-suite
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and technologists
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record leading enterprise-level tech transformation projects
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature/Science preferred)
- Experience securing federal grants and venture capital for moonshot projects
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with C-suite experience
- Patents or commercialized products in emerging tech domains
