The Role
As a 2D Motion Designer, you will be the architect of movement. You will translate static concepts into fluid, captivating animations that resonate with our audience. You will work closely with art directors, copywriters, and developers to ensure every frame serves a purpose.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create high-quality 2D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects for digital campaigns, social media, and web experiences.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop storyboards and animation sequences that align with client brand guidelines.
- Utilize Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D to produce stunning motion content.
- Optimize video files and animations for various platforms (mobile, web, social) ensuring fast load times without compromising quality.
- Revise and refine animations based on feedback from stakeholders and project managers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in 2D design, animation techniques, and industry-standard software.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) with a strong portfolio demonstrating 2D animation skills.
- Strong understanding of timing, spacing, and visual storytelling principles.
- Experience with vector animation tools (e.g., Adobe Animate) and basic 3D principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment and meet tight deadlines.
