Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain high-quality 2D animation pipelines and style guides.
- Optimize 2D assets and animations for performance across various platforms and devices.
- Develop technical solutions to solve complex art and engineering challenges within the Unity and Unreal Engine environments.
- Mentor junior artists and provide feedback on art direction, technical feasibility, and implementation details.
- Conduct research on emerging 2D graphics technologies and tools to drive innovation within the studio.
- Create and manage asset libraries, ensuring consistency and efficiency in the creative workflow.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a 2D Technical Artist, 2D Animator, or Motion Designer.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and motion graphics tools.
- Strong understanding of vector graphics, rigging systems, and animation principles.
- Experience working with game engines (Unity or Unreal Engine) and understanding of GPU optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating both artistic talent and technical proficiency.
