Responsibilities
- Design ethical governance frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems by 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops with AI developers, policymakers, and ethicists
- Author white papers on AI alignment, bias mitigation, and existential risk prevention
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on responsible AI implementation strategies
- Develop predictive models for societal impacts of emerging technologies
- Represent the Institute at global AI ethics summits and regulatory hearings
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical AI methodologies and future scenario planning
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with 5+ years applied ethics experience
- Published research in AI alignment, algorithmic fairness, or long-term AI safety
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, OECD principles)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
- Experience testifying before legislative bodies or standardization bodies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, and generative AI
- Portfolio demonstrating real-world impact on AI policy or corporate governance
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
