Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical AI governance frameworks aligned with evolving regulatory standards
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models using advanced statistical tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ethical considerations into product lifecycles
- Lead stakeholder workshops on AI transparency and explainability techniques
- Monitor emerging ethical AI regulations and update compliance protocols proactively
- Document compliance processes and prepare regulatory submissions for federal agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Ethics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI governance or responsible AI implementation
- Proficiency in fairness assessment tools (e.g., Aequitas, IBM Fairness 360)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in statistical analysis and algorithmic auditing
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design) preferred
