- Lead cross-functional task forces including engineering, legal, and social impact teams
- Develop governance protocols for AI deployment in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, autonomous vehicles)
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for high-stakes AI applications
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in policy discussions with regulatory bodies
- Mentor AI ethics champions across product development teams
- Produce annual AI impact reports for stakeholders and the public
Qualifications
- 10+ years in AI governance, ethics, or policy with 5+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)
- Proven experience implementing bias mitigation techniques in ML pipelines
- Deep understanding of AI safety protocols for LLMs and autonomous systems
- Published research or thought leadership in AI ethics (peer-reviewed journals, top-tier conferences)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on responsible AI adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field
