Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory requirements
- Lead cross-functional working groups on bias mitigation and algorithmic transparency
- Conduct risk assessments for high-stakes AI deployments in healthcare and finance
- Develop audit protocols for generative AI systems and synthetic data pipelines
- Partner with policymakers to shape emerging AI legislation and standards
- Train engineers on responsible AI development practices and ethical decision-making
- Report on AI ethics metrics to board of directors and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 8+ years AI governance experience
- Published research in algorithmic fairness or AI ethics (NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR)
- Expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and OECD AI Principles frameworks
- Proven track record of scaling ethics programs from prototype to enterprise deployment
- Certification in AI Risk Management (CAIR) or equivalent
- Experience testifying before legislative bodies or regulatory commissions
- Technical fluency in MLOps and generative AI architectures
