Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with global standards
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI systems for bias, fairness, and compliance
- Establish governance protocols for autonomous decision-making systems
- Collaborate with engineers to embed ethical safeguards in AI development lifecycle
- Advocate for responsible AI adoption through stakeholder education and policy development
- Research emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and predictive analytics
- Report to CTO on AI risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethical technology leadership
- Expertise in bias mitigation and fairness metrics for machine learning systems
- Strong understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global regulatory landscapes
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks (e.g., IEEE 7000, ACM Code of Ethics)
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders
