Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous AI systems
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for machine learning models
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into development pipelines
- Advise on regulatory compliance and emerging AI governance standards
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align organizational values with AI deployment
- Publish research on AI ethics best practices and industry standards
- Monitor global AI policy developments and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, or related field with 5+ years of AI ethics experience
- Deep expertise in AI bias mitigation and fairness metrics
- Proven track record in developing ethical AI frameworks for commercial applications
- Familiarity with global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with participatory design methodologies for AI governance
- Publication record in AI ethics or adjacent fields preferred
