Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for next-gen AI systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and mitigate algorithmic biases
- Develop audit protocols for autonomous decision-making processes
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical principles into AI lifecycle
- Author white papers on responsible AI for industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical technology methodologies
- Partner with policymakers to shape AI regulatory standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Expertise in bias detection/mitigation techniques for ML systems
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible technology
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in philosophical ethics applied to technology
- Proficiency in Python for ethical auditing tool development
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement
