Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems, ensuring compliance with evolving global regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for machine learning models using fairness metrics and adversarial testing.
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams on ethical AI principles and responsible innovation practices.
- Author policy documents and ethical guidelines for generative AI, deepfakes, and autonomous systems.
- Monitor emerging AI ethics research and legislation, translating insights into actionable compliance strategies.
- Represent the company in industry consortiums and contribute to open-source ethical AI toolkits.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD/Master's) in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, Law, or related field with focus on AI ethics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AI/ML development or applied ethics, with demonstrable impact on responsible AI frameworks.
- Expertise in fairness metrics, bias mitigation techniques, and adversarial testing for ML models.
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act) and compliance methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex ethical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Published research or proven track record in AI ethics, algorithmic accountability, or responsible innovation.
