Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Systems: Design and implement scalable, high-performance AI architectures for Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems expected to dominate 2026.
- Research Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives in AI safety, alignment, and reinforcement learning to ensure AGI benefits all of humanity.
- Prototyping & Validation: Rapidly prototype complex algorithms, validate performance metrics, and translate theoretical concepts into production-ready code.
- Strategic Vision: Define the long-term technical roadmap for the AI division, identifying emerging trends and integrating them into our core infrastructure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, ethicists, and software engineers to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into consumer and enterprise products.
- Technical Mentorship: Lead a team of senior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related technical field (or equivalent extensive practical experience).
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) and distributed computing systems.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or architect role.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, C++, and SQL. Experience with GPU optimization (CUDA) is highly preferred.
- Research Background: A strong track record of publishing in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or open-source contributions to major ML libraries.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
