Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement robust, high-performance machine learning infrastructure capable of handling petabyte-scale data streams.
- Lead Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for our AI research initiatives, aligning them with business goals and industry trends.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Model Optimization: Drive research into model compression, quantization, and edge deployment to ensure real-time performance on diverse hardware.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate complex AI capabilities into user-centric features.
- Risk Management: Establish protocols for data privacy, bias mitigation, and safety in AI deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Strong understanding of Deep Learning architectures (Transformers, GANs, Diffusion Models).
- MLOps: Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous problems and deliver innovative solutions under tight deadlines.
