Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI architectures for 2026-era applications including quantum neural networks and AGI frameworks
- Lead cross-disciplinary research teams in developing ethical AI governance models and explainable AI systems
- Collaborate with NASA and academic partners on space exploration AI projects and autonomous robotics
- Drive innovation in generative AI, multimodal learning, and real-time adaptive systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and lead patent development
- Develop carbon-efficient AI training methodologies and sustainable computing protocols
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and university interns in emerging AI paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Computing, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in transformer architectures, federated learning, and neuromorphic computing
- Publication record in top-tier venues (NeurIPS, ICML, Nature) with 10+ peer-reviewed papers
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit)
- Experience developing ethical AI frameworks and bias mitigation systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research funding or corporate partnerships
- Strong background in deploying AI at edge devices and resource-constrained environments
