Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Inspect and document inventory conditions using digital scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with warehouse and transportation teams
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety checks
- Train on new refrigeration technologies and inventory systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in sub-zero environments
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
