Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in -20°F to 45°F zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated environments
- Execute inventory management and rotation protocols
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA cold chain compliance standards
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
- Implement safety protocols for hazardous materials handling
- Coordinate with logistics teams for seamless product flow
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- OSHA 10 certification or equivalent safety training
- Forklift certification (PIT) with refrigerated environment experience
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and temperature monitoring systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs regularly
