Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated warehouses
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold environments with precision
- Inspect and document refrigeration equipment performance daily
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive shipments using FIFO methods
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols strictly
- Perform inventory audits in climate-controlled zones
- Train new hires on cold storage safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic inventory management skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
