Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in cold environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect, organize, and rotate inventory to ensure product integrity
- Adhere to strict HACCP and FDA safety protocols
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive cargo using specialized equipment
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (PIT) with refrigerated environment endorsement
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
