Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer storage units
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload temperature-sensitive products
- Conduct routine inventory audits and accurate documentation of stock movements
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems and warehouse equipment
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient product rotation and FIFO compliance
- Train new team members on cold storage procedures and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
