Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in -20°F to 40°F storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration systems with precision
- Implement HACCP protocols and FDA-compliant inventory rotation
- Conduct daily safety inspections and equipment maintenance checks
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Document inventory using WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Train new staff on cold safety procedures and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- OSHA 10 certification and forklift certification required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- Experience with WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan Associates)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
