Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 20°F)
- Monitor and record warehouse temperatures using digital systems
- Pick, pack, and stage perishable goods with precision
- Maintain strict adherence to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Conduct daily inventory audits using RF scanners
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
