Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F zones)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment safely
- Inspect and document product integrity using digital inventory systems
- Pack, label, and organize perishable goods according to HACCP standards
- Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks in cold dock areas
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Clean background check and pre-employment drug screen required
