Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols in refrigerated and frozen storage zones (-10°F to 45°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment following OSHA safety standards
- Inspect and record inventory levels using digital tracking systems
- Palletize and organize perishable goods with precision and efficiency
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- Adhere to HACCP food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (35°F to -10°F) for extended periods
- Valid Florida driver's license and forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Experience in warehouse or cold storage operations advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including weekends, nights, and holidays
