Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and specialized cold storage equipment
- Inspect and document product integrity using WMS systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation using FIFO methods
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Maintain detailed temperature and quality control logs
- Participate in quarterly safety drills and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Valid forklift certification (will train if unlicensed)
- Ability to work in 0°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
