Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 30°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for inventory movement
- Inspect and rotate stock using FIFO methods
- Document inventory counts and temperature logs
- Sanitize equipment and work areas daily
- Operate automated sorting systems when applicable
- Report equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid forklift certification (provided if needed)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
