Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load/unload refrigerated trailers
- Perform inventory audits using barcode scanning systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards for food handling
- Inspect and sanitize equipment per FDA guidelines
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient product rotation
- Document temperature logs and quality control reports
- Participate in monthly safety drills and training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts in sub-zero environments
