Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) in sub-zero environments
- Inspect and maintain cold storage facilities for temperature compliance and safety protocols
- Manage inventory rotation using FIFO methods in frozen storage zones
- Document temperature logs and equipment maintenance records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards for cold storage environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in -10°F environments for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
