Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated warehouse zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Inspect and organize inventory in cold storage environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Adhere to strict food safety and HACCP protocols
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods upon receipt and dispatch
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient inventory rotation
- Maintain detailed records of warehouse operations and temperature logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
