Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize products in climate-controlled zones (-20°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided) to move inventory efficiently
- Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate inventory records via RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and GMP protocols for food safety compliance
- Perform routine sanitation procedures to maintain 5S cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Participate in quarterly safety drills and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
