Responsibilities
- Maintain precise inventory control using WMS systems in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F zones)
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts with OSHA-certified safety protocols
- Perform quality assurance checks on perishable goods upon receipt and dispatch
- Adhere to HACCP standards for food safety in cold storage conditions
- Coordinate cross-functional team for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements using digital tracking systems
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment maintenance schedules
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification and active driver's license
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 50°F for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Strong attention to detail with food safety compliance knowledge
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred for diverse team coordination
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
