Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control protocols in refrigerated/freezer environments (-10°F to 45°F)
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move perishable inventory efficiently
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming/outgoing food products
- Adhere to strict sanitation standards including HACCP compliance
- Utilize inventory management systems for accurate stock tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless warehouse operations
- Document temperature logs and safety incidents according to regulations
- Participate in emergency response drills for cold storage incidents
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent required
