Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated environments (0°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory using FIFO protocols
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audit stock rotation systems
- Adhere to HACCP guidelines and sanitation protocols for food-grade facilities
- Inspect equipment for malfunctions and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- High school diploma or GED required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
