Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature monitoring protocols in refrigerated environments (-20°F to 35°F zones)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient product movement and stacking
- Perform accurate inventory counts using RF scanners and digital systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards for cold storage operations
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
- Coordinate with quality control team for product rotation and FIFO compliance
- Assist in deep cleaning and sanitization of storage areas
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
