Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in temperature-controlled zones
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanners and digital systems
- Ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP protocols
- Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs
- Rotate stock following FIFO principles to ensure product freshness
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in cold storage operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Basic computer literacy and RF scanner experience
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
