Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity controls in refrigerated zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and cycle counting protocols
- Document temperature logs and warehouse activities using digital systems
- Inspect product integrity and report spoilage or equipment malfunctions
- Maintain OSHA compliance in cold storage environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in sub-freezing conditions
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work efficiently in 0-40°F environments for extended periods
