Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to organize and move frozen goods (-10°F environment)
- Conduct inventory audits using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Maintain strict sanitation protocols for food safety compliance (HACCP standards)
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trailers with perishable products
- Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines in cold storage conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly in subzero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
